1. Scope

These terms apply to your use of our English-language website (mooncorn.com.tr/en) and, if you create one, to your account. Membership is free. Every purchase is also governed by our Pre-contractual Information and our Distance Sales Agreement.

2. Your account

Please give accurate, up-to-date information, keep your login details safe and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible only for your own fault and as provided by law; our own security obligations cannot be passed on to you. To open an account you must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract or the consent of your legal representative.

These terms are available to you when you sign up and become binding when you accept them by an active step. Visiting the website or reading this page does not, on its own, mean that you accept them.

3. How to place an order

Choose your products and add them to your basket.
Go to checkout and enter or check your delivery details and payment method.
Before you pay, check the order summary, the Pre-contractual Information and the Distance Sales Agreement. You can correct any input error by going back to the basket or to a previous step before you place your order.
Place your order by clicking the "Complete Order" button. Clicking this button creates an obligation to pay.
We confirm your order by email and send you the contract text.

The contract is concluded in English. You can also see your orders in your account.

4. Prices and product information

Prices on our English-language website are in euros (EUR). The import VAT of your country and any customs handling fees are not included and are paid by you to the carrier on delivery. Changes to products, prices and services apply only to future orders. Product information and our sales commitments cannot be set aside on the ground that they were for promotional purposes only; errors in prices or product information are handled in line with the law.

5. Rules of use

You must not use the website for unlawful purposes, access another person's account or data without permission, break or test the website's security, disrupt how the website works or infringe intellectual property rights. If there is a security risk or a specific unlawful act, we may restrict access to an account to the extent necessary and proportionate. Where possible, we tell you the reason and how to challenge it. Restricting an account does not affect your existing orders, withdrawals or consumer rights.

6. Content and intellectual property

Content on the website belonging to us or to our licensors may not be copied for commercial purposes without permission, except where the law allows. If you post a review or a photo, you allow us to show it within the website feature where you posted it. If we would like to use it in advertising or elsewhere, we will ask for your separate permission. Your posts must be lawful and must not infringe the rights of others.

7. Personal data and marketing

We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Accepting these terms is not consent to marketing. Marketing emails are optional and are sent only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see our Marketing Consent page).

8. Availability of the service and liability

The website may be unavailable at times for maintenance or development. We are bound by our legal duties of care and security and we do not use general disclaimers to exclude liability for our own fault, for a defective service or for your mandatory consumer rights. If you follow a link to a third-party website, that website's terms may apply.

9. Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account by emailing [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity. Closing your account does not affect ongoing orders, withdrawals or refunds. Records we must keep by law are kept only for that purpose and period.

10. Changes to these terms

Existing orders and rights arising from your membership cannot be changed to your disadvantage with retroactive effect. We tell you about important changes to these terms in an appropriate way and ask for your acceptance where the law requires it. Silence or simply continuing to use the website does not count as acceptance.

11. Complaints, governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you have your habitual residence, and your statutory rights to bring proceedings, including in the courts of the country where you live, are not affected. If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Transferring rights and obligations or using service providers does not reduce your legal rights.
